Osavi Vitamin D3 Oral Spray - 4000iu 12.5ml
Vitamin D3 4000 IU MAX in a spray
An extremely important part of caring for immunity, healthy bones and teeth is providing the body with vitamin D3. It is very difficult to consume vitamin D3 from the diet in the recommended amounts, and exposure of the body to sunlight leading to the production of the vitamin in the skin can be insufficient, and in autumn and winter additionally ineffective. In our time zone, supplementation of this vitamin is recommended for every human from birth until the last days of life [1].
Called the 'sunshine vitamin', vitamin D3 plays many roles in maintaining health and well-being [2]. It is involved in the regulation of calcium and phosphate metabolism, which influences bone and tooth health, as well as maintaining normal blood calcium concentrations. It is an important ally of our immunity by influencing the innate and acquired immune response [3]. This vitamin regulates the function of many genes, is involved in the process of cell division and also influences the synthesis of glucose-regulating insulin [4]. In adults with pre-diabetes, vitamin D3 supplementation may reduce the risk of diabetes [5]. Vitamin D3 is involved in normal skeletal muscle development, optimising strength and muscle function [6]. Deficiency can manifest as impaired immune function, as well as bone, joint and muscle pain and excessive fatigue [7]. It has been noted that low vitamin D3 levels in older people may be associated with an increased likelihood of femoral neck fracture [8]. Vitamin D supplementation may lead to a reduction in the rate of depression in people aged 60 years and older [9].
How much we should supplement depends, among other things, on our age, gender, physiological state, health status, as well as the current concentration of the 25(OH)D3 parameter in the blood. According to the latest recommendations, vitamin D3 supplementation is safe and recommended for use throughout the year. The amount of 4,000 units of vitamin D3 per day is primarily dedicated to elderly people over 75 years of age. Such amounts may also be needed by overweight and obese people, who are recommended to take double the dose of cholecalciferol compared to the doses recommended for peers of normal weight [1].
The modern and convenient form of the neutral-tasting oral spray means that vitamin D3 supplementation has never been easier than it is now. The easy and convenient form of application, with no need to sip or dilute, eliminates the problem of swallowing capsules or tablets. Our supplement contains only two ingredients - vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) dissolved in MCT oil extracted from 100% coconut oil. You will find no sugar, gluten, lactose, soya, GMOs or other unnecessary additives. A daily serving contains as much as 4,000 IU of vitamin D3 in one puff, which corresponds to 100 μg (2000% RWS), and the small package is sufficient for 4 months of supplementation. If you want to take care of your immunity, bones, teeth and the health of your whole body - reach for our vitamin D3!
